Five Life Lessons We Learned from Mom - Mother's Day Edition

Mom, You're a Superhero

5 Life Lessons We Learned from Mom

In honor of Sherry and the beautiful spirit of motherhood, here are five timeless lessons we learned from her (and we’re willing to bet your mom taught you these too!):

1. Hospitality Is an Act of Love

Mom always had coffee ready before guests arrived, her table set with matching coffee cups, and fresh-baked treats straight from the oven. She showed us that making people feel welcome doesn’t have to be fancy — it just needs to be heartfelt.

2. Start Your Day with Gratitude

Before the day got hectic, Sherry would sit quietly with her first cup of coffee, often reflecting or praying. She taught us that a simple moment of gratitude each morning can change the way you face everything ahead.

3. Family Comes First

No matter how busy life got, family gatherings were non-negotiable. Sherry believed that making time for loved ones — even if it was just over a quick coffee and conversation — was one of life's greatest priorities.

4. Work Hard, but Don't Forget to Celebrate

Whether she was baking for a family birthday or cheering us on after a small win, Mom knew the importance of pausing to celebrate life’s little milestones. Hard work was important, but so was joy.

5. Kindness Leaves a Legacy

Sherry’s kindness touched every person who walked through her door. She taught us that even small acts of love and service can leave a lasting imprint on someone’s heart — a legacy stronger than anything else.

This Mother's Day, we invite you to celebrate all the lessons, memories, and warm coffee moments that make motherhood so beautiful. 💕

Happy Sipping,

Jenelle
